She is known for having a playful, vibrant and modern approach to landscape art. By experimenting with unconventional colour palettes, she explores new ways of celebrating the beauty of nature.
Finding inspiration amongst the beautiful Australian landscape, she uses oil on canvas to mix various shapes, collage and blending techniques into mixed media paintings. Freya provides an opportunity to observe, connect and engage the senses, by combining the contrasting colours, patterns and textures that she often finds in her natural environment.
